Student-Centered Indonesian Language Learning Strategies in the Digital and Merdeka Curriculum Era: A Literature Review

Abstract

Indonesian language learning strategies are crucial for improving students' language skills, including listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Social change, the development of digital technology, and the implementation of the Independent Curriculum (Curriculum Merdeka) require teachers to implement innovative, adaptive, and student-centered learning strategies. This article aims to examine various Indonesian language learning strategies based on research and scientific studies published in 2021. The method used is a literature review, analyzing scientific journals, proceedings, and academic books. The study results indicate that Problem-Based Learning, Project-Based Learning, Cooperative Learning, Discovery Learning, Flipped Classroom, learning differentiation, and the use of digital media effectively improve the quality of Indonesian language learning. Therefore, teachers need to select strategies that are appropriate to student characteristics and learning objectives to achieve optimal learning outcomes
